Garden of Hope: An Enchanted CASA Carnival for Kids’ Mental Health returns in full bloom to the Edmonton Convention Centre on March 20, 2026.

This award-winning gala promises an unforgettable evening raising funds for free, life-changing mental health care for kids and families. Since its inception, CASA Carnival has raised over $4 million for CASA Mental Health and was instrumental in the opening of CASA Centre in 2016.

Where the Funds Will Go in 2025

CASA Mental Health has been a cornerstone of free mental health services in Alberta for nearly 40 years, serving children, youth and their families. With a team of trauma-informed professionals, CASA provides assessment and treatment to more than 11,000 Albertans each year. As demand continues to grow, CASA is expanding its services beyond Edmonton, using innovative approaches to ensure more families can access free mental health care when and where they need it.

Innovation at CASA extends beyond service delivery. Through the CASA Research Chair in Child and Adolescent Mental Health, CASA is helping advance autism research at the University of Alberta. The chair works directly with patients and families to better understand mental health challenges and improve psychiatric care across the province. By exploring new, personalized approaches to care through genetics, this research focuses on reducing stigma, celebrating individual strengths and developing more effective treatments that help children and youth with autism thrive. This world-class research will be accessible in a clinical setting, improving care at CASA and across the province.

With expanded services and forward-thinking research, CASA Mental Health is shaping the future of mental health care in Alberta – making sure support is not only accessible, but transformative. We invite you to be part of this important journey.
