Step into the night circus and experience stunning aerial performances, roaming cirque acts, live music and gourmet delights. This upscale gala promises mystery, magic and glamour.
Did you know that about 20 per cent of Canadian youth are affected by a mental illness or disorder? And only one out of five children receive appropriate mental health services. Mental health can’t wait until age 18.
CASA Mental Health is on a journey to reach more kids and families where they live, work and play. In response to the demand for timely mental health care in Alberta, CASA committed to doubling the number of kids, youth and family members we serve from 4,000 to 8,000. Last year, CASA served over 8,900 patients and family members – a goal we achieved one year early, thanks to the dedicated support of community members like you.
But the need is greater than ever, and it continues to grow. According to the Mental Health Commission, 61 per cent of parents are very or extremely concerned about managing their child’s behaviour, anxiety, emotions and stress. In 2020, Kids Help Phone reported twice as many phone calls, texts and use of self-directed help resources across Canada compared to the previous year.
Your CASA Carnival ticket purchase supports the growing need for child, youth and family mental health services in Alberta. A portion of your ticket cost will be eligible for a tax receipt.
